2007 Workshops

Environmental Impacts on Genome Stability: June 2007
 
Dr. John Hays, and his post doctoral researcher, Marc Curtis, of the Department of Environmental and Molecular Toxicology at OSU, hosted a group of teachers to participate in a professional development workshop/focus group sponsored by his lab research grant.  Teachers learned about the model system, Arabidopsis, learned the research techniques used in the Hays lab, and assisted in the development of curriculum materials suitable for high school classrooms. Several other Arabidopsis researchers gave guest lectures.
